Legislative Update

The 2023 Colorado Legislative Session resulted in six gun violence prevention bills signed by Governor Jared Polis at the close of the session.

Motivated by the November 2022 Club Q shooting, the death of a Denver East High School student, and years of frustration about gun violence, our coalition efforts reached a new milestone in public safety—and we have more work ahead.
