The Colorado Ceasefire team is presenting English and Spanish briefings about expanded ERPO petitions and Safe Storage of firearms for professionals and community groups, in-person or Zoom, throughout Colorado. These are tailored to your group, whether clinicians, a PTO, a faith-based organization, or club.
#WeKeepUsSafe (#NosMantenemosSeguros) relates to preventing gun violence for people who might be emotionally at risk in harming themselves or others, or situations where there are lawfully owned firearms in the home that need to be stored safely—to prevent gun accidents. Children often find loaded weapons and play with them.
Learn about newly Expanded Extreme Risk Protection Order Petitions (Red Flag Laws), and Safe Storage techniques and tools for storing firearms in your home—and keeping children safe. This outreach program is funded by a grant from the Colorado Department of Health and the Environment (CDPHE) Office of Gun Violence Prevention (OGVP).
