Colorado Ceasefire supporters (like you!) delivered more than 2,000 emails supporting gun violence prevention bills to their representatives in the just-passed legislative session, using our easy ‘Contact Your Legislator’ forms. We sent out ‘Action Alerts’ asking for support for bills including SB25-003 (High-Capacity Magazine Ban) and HB25-1250 (Gun Violence Prevention with Parents and Students); we also asked for action against ‘bad’ bills including HB25-1232 (Liability when means of Defense Denied) and HB25-1055 (Repeal of Gun Dealer Permitting). All the good bills Ceasefire supported passed, and the ‘bad’ bills failed.
