Interim ED Laney Sheffel speaks at Ceasefire’s Fall Connect session
Our Outreach branch hosted a ‘Connect With Ceasefire’ session on Monday Nov. 17. About 30 Ceasefire staff and supporters met at the Posner Center and heard from Interim Executive Director Laney Sheffel, Legislative Action Director Eileen McCarron, and Legislative Action Board Member Tom Mauser.
Sheffel shared that Ceasefire Outreach has made 77 presentations so far this year, reaching more than 2,000 Coloradans with information about gun violence prevention and secure storage. McCarron gave a brief overview of what to expect from the 2026 Legislature, and Mauser gave a talk on how to constructively engage with people on the other side of the gun violence prevention debate.
