Colorado Ceasefire Legislative Action has been honored to have received funding from Rose Community Foundation to support our legislative advocacy and communication work for the years 2024 and 2025. We are incredibly grateful to Rose Community Foundation for all it has helped us achieve in planning and preparing legislative proposals, but especially for the financial help to move bills to the Governor’s desk.
Rose’s financial help in getting Proposition KK off the ground and providing underwriting for successful voter approval in the November 2024 election was a critical game changer. Proposition KK employs an excise tax on firearms and ammunition to provide support for victims’ assistance, youth and veterans mental health care, and school safety.
